I have the power to change all that I can, the wisdom to accept what I cannot, and the inability to tell the difference. I am a bitter, sardonic, and cynical bastard with few manners. I am offensive, vulgar, apathetic, and have many other less-than-admirable traits. I will make a joke out of anything that someone else finds serious, that's just the way I am. I take life very seriously, I just hope it doesn't take me seriously. I have a complete lack of tact, and if you feel sensetive at all, or are easily offended, I would recommend you just hit the little back button at the top of your screen, and get the hell out of here before you get seriously annoyed. That being said, I am also a nihilist. No, not the 19th century Russian terrorist party. It means that I hold the viewpoint that traditional values and beliefs are unfounded and that existence is senseless and useless. It is a doctrine that denies any objective ground of truth, and especially of moral truths. I find religions based on Jehovah, Allah, or Yhwys particularly annoying. However, I am also deeply drawn to the spiritual aspects of the Scandanavian and Irish religions/philosophies, respectively. It creates an odd dichotomy in me, and is yet another sign of the duality of my heart and mind, creating another black mark under the catagory of my soul that is labeled: "Things Inherently Wrong With Me". If you are not listed as a friend, you will only see innane babble that I post to pass the time. If I have listed you as a friend, you will see the real me, and it will probably be more innane babble. I'm a useless member of society, and that doesn't bother me in the slightest. I'm a cripple now, but I used to be a bouncer, but bashing people for fun and profit wore a bit thin after awhile. Wrestling, boxing, and fencing (mostly heavy weapons, though I did study the rapier and sabre for a bit. I'm too large to use a knitting needle) helped me out in that, but mostly I'm a coward for the best of reasons... My favourite skin. My single greatest accomplishment has been my survival. Other than that, I am a published poet in the book Verse from a Living Journal, and I have thus far managed to avoid government attention. And, as typical as it's become amoung the Ultra-Cynical Youth-Intelligencia of todays young apathets, I like irony. No, irony does not mean "sort of like iron".
